In our contemporary times, the usage of the phrase “man of God” is so rampant. Automatically, anyone who shows some commitment to the ways of God is tagged a man of God or woman of God, depending on their gender. I have a lot of people, friends and acquaintances calling me this, and I do the same to others as well. Sometimes, this comes off as a mockery.
