15 Insightful Bible Verses on Heaven
One identical cry of every living person is to live in a world void of struggles, problems and pains. Unfortunately, such days have never been lived on earth as the battles and chaos of life don’t give up.
And if you take your roots in the Bible, you can find two reasons why this world is saturated with ups and downs. One is that we live in a fallen world, so no matter how much we try to raise it up, we will only get weary until it falls apart again.
The second reason is not far from the first reason. It is the cause of the fall of this world, which was meant to be peaceful and blissful. And that is Satan. Satan is the god of this world. He influences the thoughts, words, and actions of as many that gives him room in their lives.
And the short bio of the devil is killing, stealing, and destruction. Hence, those who allow themselves to be influenced by him, even if it’s for a second, will only inflict the people around them with pain and depravity.
However, there’s hope and a solution. Although no man-made manual can preserve us in the long run, we are not without help. We have a maker, our Creator. God.
Yes, God, and He has not entirely abandoned us. God has a redemption plan that can save us. If you accept His Son’s life, Jesus, you will experience His peace that surpasses all understanding in this same world.
And while this world drives into destruction, there is a home of light with no shadow of darkness and life without end, prepared and reserved for those willing to accept it. A home second to none, which is heaven.
Heaven is not a myth. I can tell you this because I have a part of it in my heart.
If you would believe it, the following 15 Insightful Bible Verses on Heaven affirms its reality:
1- John 14 v 2:
“In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” (NKJV)
2- Philippians 3 v 20-21:
“For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.” (NKJV)
3- II Corinthians 5 v 1:
“For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.” (NKJV)
4- Revelation 22 v 1-5:
And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.” (NKJV)
5- I John 3 v 2:
“Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.” (NKJV)
6- Psalms 16 v 11:
“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” (NKJV)
7- Matthew 13 v 43:
“Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” (NKJV)
8- John 3 v 2-3:
“This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, ‘Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.’ Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.’” (NKJV)
9- Revelation 21 v 21-25:
“The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there).” (NKJV)
10- Matthew 6 v 19-21:
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (NKJV)
11- Matthew 19 v 14:
“But Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.’” (NKJV)
12- II Peter 3 v 13:
“Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.” (NKJV)
13- Revelation 21 v 4:
“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” (NKJV)
14- I Corinthians 2 v 9:
“But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’” (NKJV)
15- John 3 v 16:
